Deposits
The Company WILL ask for a deposit upon booking with us, the deposit will consist of the travel fee and will be removed from your bill when produced.
Deposits ARE Refundable upon cancellation Providing we are contacted within 48 Hours of your appointment, either contact: info.bme.performance@gmail.com or alternatively call us on: 07399 141999
Estimates
An estimate is a considered approximation of the likely cost involved.
Prices of goods and work are based on prices current at the time of preparation of the estimate and the company reserves the right to increase such prices if the price to the company is increased between preparing the estimate and obtaining the goods/ completing the work.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing if it appears during the progress of any work that the estimate will be exceeded by a significant amount the company will not continue the work without further express permission from the customer. Such permission may be given in writing and signed by the customer and the company.
The customer acknowledges that’s motor vehicles are complex pieces of machinery, that to repair defects it is appropriate to try the least complex solution first and that further chargeable work may be necessary if the work does not cure the fault.
The company reserves the right to request a deposit against anticipated charges before agreeing to proceed with any work.
All prices are exclusive of value added tax which is shown separately.
Uncompleted work
If for any reason work requested by the customer is not carried out in full the company will charge a reasonable amount for any work actually carried out and the current price of any goods supplied or fitted.
Time
The company will use its best efforts to do work or supply goods within any time period notified to the customer. However, we cannot promise time periods due to potential supplier issues.
Completion of work and payment
All goods and/or services shall be paid for on credit/debit card.
Work shall be deemed complete when the customer is so advised by the company. The customer will pay the company on debit/credit card for all work done and Payments MUST be Paid before the Mechanic leaves the premises otherwise, we have the right to retain vehicle keys until the payments are made.
Warranty
The company undertakes that it will use its best endeavors to obtain for the customer the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacture or importer in respect of the goods. The Company will carry out any work for parts under warranty providing it is within the time/Mileage Frame.
Notices
We as a Company MUST have at least 48Hrs notice upon cancellation of appointment, if contact is not made Via Email to info.bme.performance@gmail.com or called to 07399141999 Within the timeframe the deposit will NOT be refunded.
REMAPPING AND MODIFICATIONS
Terms And Conditions
1. The customer must ensure that the vehicle has been maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations including relevant cambelt changes/timing chain maintenance and that it is in full and total road worthy condition.
2. The customer is therefore happy to allow his/her vehicle to be remapped at his/her own personal risk thus absolving BME Performance of any responsibility should any failure occur.
3. BME Performance accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury incurred whilst the Remapping is in operation or at any time after.
4. When tuning vehicles with the DPF still in place, BME Performance will not be held responsible for any faults or issues related to the filter blocking up. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle is driven in a manner that allows the DPF to regenerate (Refer to owner’s manual).
5. If any warning lights do appear you may have to force regenerate the DPF. Refer to owner’s manual or follow the link below as a guide. If you are not confident in carrying out this procedure please contact a professional.

6. BME Performance reserves the right to refuse any tuning work on vehicles regardless of the expenditure / number of orders placed with ourselves.
7. We reserve the right to request a deposit at the time of booking an appointment in our workshop, for tuning or for special order parts. This deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel your appointment or order.
8. If you do not or cannot attend an appointment, please do not ask us to refund the deposit paid. In some circumstances we may allow you to change your appointment to a more suitable date, but will require at least 48 Hours. If Contact is not made within 48 Hours the Deposit Will NOT be Refunded.
9. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they comply with rules and laws relating to their home country. BME Performance accepts no responsibility for the use of this part on the public highway where removal of emissions controls is prohibited.
10. Due to new EU Legislation and as part of the VOSA Annual MOT inspection, if fitted at the factory, a DPF Unit must be present at the time of test.
11. All parts sold or work carried out by BME Performance related to Catalytic Converter / DPF / EGR / AdBlue Removal is deemed as for Motorsport / Off Road use only.
When booking in for work or purchasing parts it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they comply with rules and laws relating to their home country.
12. We will only carry out the Catalytic Converter / DPF / EGR / AdBlue Removal process if the customer has agreed that the vehicle is not going to be used on the public highway and that BME Performance will not be held responsible for any future actions or issues relating to the Catalytic Converter / DPF / EGR / AdBlue removal. Road test will not be carried out after the work has been completed.
13. All customers must pay for their parts / invoices in full prior to the mechanic leaving site. It is our right to withhold keys until payment is made in full.
We do not offer credit terms under any circumstances.
14. Customers may be asked to take the vehicle out for a test drive with one of our mechanics or tuners before leaving. Any concerns should be made at this point if possible.
15. Owners are expected to have a certain level of mechanical sympathy; abuse when cold or hot will cause excessive wear on engine parts, especially turbochargers.
We cannot guarantee any power figures that we may quote. All our tuning is completely custom and power figures can alter due to the health of the engine and other components on the vehicle. We do not chase power figures by going beyond our usual safe parameters, compromising the reliability of the engine and parts fitted.
16. Cars are expected to have service intervals proportional to the power increase; e.g. double the power, half the service interval.
17. All Remapping Files are Provided by a 3rd-Party and we do not accept responsibility for issues with the vehicle due to the remap and or driving habits.
